About PowderSense
Hi, I'm Henry from the Netherlands! I've been reloading for about a year now on an RCBS Pro 2000 progressive press. When I started, I noticed that all steps in a progressive press are pretty straightforward except for one... Once the powder is dispensed, you're never 100% certain how much powder is actually in your case.
That's when I decided to build PowderSense - a precision powder measurement device that fits in station 4 of my press. It features an embedded web console that lets you configure settings, monitor measurements in real-time, and export your reloading data. Due to license restrictions here in the Netherlands, I'm only allowed to reload 9mm (the only caliber I own), but with a simple probe swap, other calibers should work just fine.
I've made the project fully open-source for anyone who wants to build one themselves, or you can purchase a pre-assembled and tested unit. By purchasing a pre-built unit, you support continued development of this open source project!
